I probably should write more than what I will, but this is an introductory post.
So, on our Woodend photography expedition; where we will take photos, hike and eat vanilla slice; we found a lovely BnB in Gisborne that accepts dogs. It’s not as close to Woodend as we wanted, but the place is lovely.
Now that we have accommodation settled, we can now look for all the OTHER things to do. As I mentioned, there will be specific photos I will want to take (see the Woodend Trip page for further details), I *think* we want to do hikes and we will try the world famous (maybe a bit of an exaggeration) vanilla slice in Woodend. Neither of us are Vanilla Slice lovers and I’m not that much into sweets. Having said that, how can you go to Woodend and not have a Vanilla Slice?
So, what else is there to do in Gisborne? There seems to be a lot to do, and because of that, I will have to take some time (I have a month ahead of me) to explore my options and look at things to do.
But, without giving it too much thought, I saw: Gisborne Nature Conservation Reserve, Jackson’s Creek Reserve, Gisborne Olde Time Market, and wineries (or winery).
As such, I will have to thoroughly read the items in Trip Advisor to select what we will do.
