The cherry blossoms bloom around the Vernal Equinox. It’s one of the first flowers to bloom in Spring. Unfortunately, we had a very sad blooming season this year, and the cherry blossom lost its flowers very quickly.
With so much going on (wedding and my father being around), I did not have enough time in January to look after my flowers. As a consequence, most of them really struggled and the leaves of the cherry blossoms all turned toasty brown. I thought it had died.
With us being back home after the beginning of 2020 festivities, I started tending to the garden, watering the flowers almost everyday. As a consequence, the flowers began opening up again!
I have shown you a photo of the pink (and white) dahlia and how it opened up. But what I didn’t show was the red dahlia. That AND the second, unseasonal, bloom of the cheery blossom!!!!!
