It is funny, after living 7 years in Melbourne, I had never been down to St Kilda “as a tourist”. I have a friend from Sydney who was in Melbourne until 28/12 and he invited me to catch up with him in St Kilda beach. I jumped on the opportunity of visiting yet another area of Melbourne I had not yet visited.

And so we spend the afternoon of 27/12 just walking around St Kilda beach: we went to the skateboard area, Luna Park, walked down the Esplanade and finally finished at the Pier. It was a lovely afternoon full of interesting things.
