I like how this template/layout looks, but I’ve been having issues with it. If I put a featured image, all wide or full width format items get squished. This is the reason why the Retrospective 2019 did not have a featured image.

I will test a lot of the layouts starting now until I find something interesting. I’m not afraid of paying for a good template. I have a few of them in mind, but still have to test them out.

The problem is that no template, so far, has been able to meet all my requirements. Some don’t display featured images on the post list page, some are designed for more of a website than a photographic blog.

I will have to find the right template and make it work for me. If I decide to upgrade my plan, then I might bring in external templates (where I might tweak it a bit to suit my needs).
