Often very under appreciated, the West Gate bridge is a beautiful work of engineering art. It serpents over the Yarra river, roughly connecting the west to the CBD.

I know I have taken photos of it at dusk and so I decided to take photos of it during the day. I went to the Stony Creek reserve to look at this monumental structure (see image on the right).
I got a few photos of the structure and details, I also got photos of some of the environment.
All the photos here were taken with my prime 50mm lens. I missed some photo opportunities because I didn’t take my wide angle lens.
