I don’t want to jynx it, but… I’m planning a trip during the Christmas/End-of-the-Year shutdown of my company. I can work through the period if I wanted to, i.e. the client of the project I’m in will not stop, but I need the mental break and it will be a good opportunity to go away.
I have booked something for Apollo Bay, but it could easily be canceled until 01/12/2023, which gives us plenty of time to talk things through and plan everything out. We still do not know what to do in the area, but since we are amongst Cape Otway, I will try to take a nigh time photo of the Cape Otway Lighthouse. You know, the night sky photo that I didn’t take and wanted to in numerous executed or postponed trips that never happened.
Here is a random list of other places I would like to go (in no particular order) in that area:
- Clifton Beach – Google Maps
- Gibson Steps – Google Maps
- Thunder Cave – Google Maps
- Loch Ard Gorge – Google Maps
- The Razorback – Google Maps
As you can see, most of these places are cliff/water related as the region provides a lot of that. There are a lot more places that I would like to go, but I’ll have to plan this trip thinking of the needs of both of us, not just my photographic needs.
