I am pleased to announce that I will be working on the Agnes of God production at Williamstown Little Theater. Sunday will be headshots day. More about this in another post.
Today I have come to talk about the kitties in my life: Marcello and Arthur. Until late 2021 I always thought I was allergic to cats, and to be fair I was allergic as a child. But when we grow, things change and allergies go away. And that’s what happened.
When I met Marcello, I immediately fell in love with him; he is a cat that is cuddly and sociable… I loved that concept and the partnership between Marcello and his human made me want to have that with a pet. This is where Arthur comes in. Arthur was an attempt (a failed one) to have what Marcello was offering. Instead, I got a very active kitty who is playful and love to hunt… he doesn’t really like to spend too much time with his human (i.e. me).
He does, BUT… he wants to spend time with me when I really can’t spent time with him, like when I’m working. He and I are trying to find our ways of working to spend quality time with each other, when we can have that time. He sometimes comes to sit on my lap when I’m watching TV (and that makes my heart melt), he sometimes cuddles in bed (under the sheets!!) when I’m trying to go to sleep.
But with just a few weeks to start moving, I decided to take photos of the two. This is because my phone generated (without me asking) a Pet Memories of 2022. It was so delicious to see those photos in a little slideshow that I decided I had to make more memories with Arthur AND Marcello.
Here are a few of them.

P.S. – I find Arthur’s wild whiskers just such a charming feature. They go in every direction.
