I forgot how much I love working on my blog, website and photography. In the past 2 years I’ve been struggling with a personal matter and slowly I started abandoning photography and my blog/website (even though it had an overhaul in that period as well).
But, in the last few weeks, that I have been putting effort into documenting my work in the blog and updating my customer’s area, I have rediscovered a great sense of achievement and satisfaction. These activities have reminded me why I do all of this.
I only have 70+ people following my blog (and at least one of those is me), so I’m not really doing it for the glory. I write on the blog because I love doing so. I love expressing what I think, show what I’m planning and documenting (for my own posterity) my achievements. Posting helps me get “stuff” out of my system.
But my photography will only really ramp up when I am able to get my photography stuff from storage. I will be able to take great indoor photos with the appropriate lighting, use gels to modify the light hue, and provide appropriate backdrops to be able to have some fun with photo editing. All of this is now being taken from me, but hopefully well before the end of the year all will be over and for 2024 I will have photographic goals that I will achieve.
