Recently I’ve been contacted by a member of the board of the Williamstown Little Theater seeing if I was interested in photographing his future production as director of “Continental Quilt”. Seeing that stage photography isn’t something I haven’t done much of, I jumped on board the opportunity.
A couple of weeks later, he contacted me again asking if I had availability and desire to also work on another production of the WLT, Jumpers for Goalposts. Jumpers for Goalposts would be performed prior to Continental Quilt, and so it would be a great opportunity for me to get more acquainted with the work that I would need to Continental Quilt. This is a great opportunity, as I have not really been as active in photography in the way I would like to – i.e. I haven’t really been focusing on my own project, just doing personal photography.
As such, last weekend I went to the Williamstown Little Theater with my equipment and did the first photo session with the cast and director. Here is the colored headshots of the cast.
I watched about 15 minutes of rehearsal when I arrived for the photoshoot and I must say I wanted to see the entire play. I definitely recommend giving it a try. For more information, visit the Williamstown Little Theatre web page.
