I have been playing a lot with black and white and portraits for my project. I have a photography session this upcoming weekend that I will photograph two more people. Two more men… I am struggling to find female models for portraiture.
Going back to playing a lot with black and white, I have used myself as a model for now, to try things to use when I have models with me. I have set up (even though not always visible) my black backdrop and my white one as well (even though none of the photos in this post have the white background). I have also taken out my flash set up and played with up to 2 simultaneous flashes. It was so much fun.
In these photos presented, I am having fun with the camera and the flash that I made funny faces (and even pretended to put my finger up my nose). That’s how much fun I was having!
But here is a small sample of the photos: light colored shirts, dark backgrounds, white backgrounds and normal background (nothing set up).

I even got to put together the Three Wise Monkeys!
I’m not going to use any of these in the project because I already have a self-portrait project running in parallel. I don’t want to take the attention out of the black and white project with too many photos of me. This is why I need more models.
